If 2013 has shown us anything, it’s that nail art is not going anywhere! I have been wanting to try this Ciaté Caviar Manicure set for so long! A big thank you to my BFF Erin for getting me this amazing set for Christmas! It comes with one nail polish, one bottle of beads, a tray to catch stray beads and a funnel to pour them back into the bottle afterward. No waste! Apparently Sephora is currently sold out, but you can purchase this on Amazon here (for an even better price). This is a simple and easy look that you can create in just a few minutes. It’s perfect for a night out! It’s dramatic, and you will get a ton of compliments. It’s not for everyone, but I am not one to shy away from something new!
I found this look lasted for 3 days before I noticed the beads were falling out. And it came off with nail polish remover much easier than the DIY version that I tried out last year.

Left: Cotton Candy beads Right: Ferris Wheel polish
Check out below for a step by step tutorial on how to create this easy and dramatic look! Also you can click here to check out my DIY caviar manicure look using supplies that cost less than $2!

Step 1: Apply two coats of Ferris Wheel. Have the beads and container ready to go so that you can immediately move on to the next step.

Step 2: While the polish is still wet, hold your hand over the container and slowly pour the beads onto you nail until you achieve the coverage you desire. Do one nail at a time so that the polish is always wet when you begin this step.

Step 3: Gently press the beads into your nails to secure them. Apply one coat of top coat and this look is complete! Now on to clean up!

Step 4: Use this handy funnel to pour the excess beads back into the bottle! This was super easy will very little spilling.

I have been wanting to try a Caviar manicure for a while too! I got a set of mini Ciate polishes and a few caviars as a holiday set but have yet to try them. I guess I’m waiting for a special occasion or something because I don’t think that the beads will stay on the nail that long? Though I really have no idea.

I actually found that it stayed on for a long time if I put on a thick coat of topcoat! Without topcoat they were falling out within hours :S
Definitely a fun look to wear for a special occasion 🙂
