The 2014 Grammys have come and gone, and now it’s time for the best dressed list! There were a few hits and a lot of misses on the red carpet this year, but let’s focus on the positive. These three looks are, as Fergie would say “G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S, yeah!”

Let’s start with my favourite look of the night, Anna Kendrick in Azzaro. She surprised me! Although I love her as an actress I didn’t expect her to pull out the big guns (literally, her girls were out and looking fabulous). I love the cut of the dress and her combination of old hollywood hair and dramatic earrings. Also, I love the pale violet colour, it looks amazing against her skin. And that cuff? Me want.

In close second is Taylor Swift wearing Gucci. I was unsure about this look at first. The silhouette is incredible and it makes her body look amazing, but I didn’t really know about the frosty eye makeup. Overall, this dress was too good not to include in my top three. I still think the makeup was a miss, I would have liked to see a dramatic lip and neutral eye, but the mesh detailing on this gown is spectacular. She looks like someone dipped her in liquid silver!

Queen Bey. She owned this Michael Costello gown! We get it Beyonce, you are magical and talented and totally gorgeous.

The high neckline and sleeves balance out the sheer peek-a-boo elements of this dress. Her makeup was on point, but her hair was not my favourite. I love a good ombre, but this just looked messy to me. It didn’t match the polished makeup and intricate gown in my opinion. Regardless, this dress was dramatic, unique and a stand out on the red carpet.
