I recently started using Origins Checks and Balances Cleanser ($25 at Sephora) for combination skin and it’s safe to say that I’ve found a new favourite face wash! I heard about this cleanser from Miss Glamorazzi a few weeks back, and I am so glad that I gave it a try.
You need only need a dime size amount, and with a little water it foams up like crazy! I like to use this at night because I feel that it does a better job removing my makeup than my morning cleanser (Spectro Gel Dry Skin Cleanser). I still need to use a separate eye makeup remover, but it does a great job at removing foundation. It leaves my skin feeling cool and squeaky clean, which is the perfect canvass for my nightly eye cream and lotion.
It contains broad leaf kelp extract which helps with excess oil, and also contains wheat protein which hydrates dry areas. This is perfect for me because I have combination skin, with an oily t-zone and very dry cheeks. It can be difficult with combination skin, because I tend to treat the dryness only and forget about my t-zone completely. This cleanser is the best of both worlds! Also, this has not aggravated my rosacea or given me hives on my face. WIN!
Have you tried any Origins products before? Any suggestions of what I should try next?

What’s on your nails? It looks like a jawbreaker!

Funny you should ask! It’s Rainbow Honey brand in the colour Sweet Talk. I’m featuring it in my new post today 🙂

I just saw that. My guess was either Rainbow Honey or Pretty and Polished (they have a Jawbreaker polish). So pretty!

I’ve never used Pretty and Polished, and I just checked out their website. So cute!

Yes! It foams up so nicely, and it removes my makeup well too!
