On February 13th, my friend Jessica (above left) and I attended the Shoppers Drugmart Gala! All the ticket proceeds benefited the Look Good Feel Better charity, which is the only Canadian charity that addresses the appearance-related effect that cancer can have on women. This charity is all about empowering women to feel their best through their free workshops. What a wonderful cause!

We got there just as it was ending and all the brand reps were heading home (Guerlain, Lancôme and others), but the ladies at the Shoppers Beauty Boutique offered to do our makeup anyway! The lovely Luiza did Jessica’s makeup using all Smashbox products and she created a lovely, natural look that only enhanced Jessica’s natural beauty!

I was getting laser eye surgery done the next day so I couldn’t get any eye makeup done and I had to wear my glasses. But when she found out that we were heading to a concert right after (Justin Timberlake!!!) one of the kind ladies offered to freshen up my makeup anyway! She used all Lancôme products and I love the lip colour she used!

They also gave out cute little swag bags with some great samples and we were entered into a grand prize draw as well. It was a lot of fun and it’s always a bonus when you are supporting a wonderful Canadian charity like Look Good Feel Better!
