It’s no secret that purple is one of my favourite colours. It’s a great colour for accenting green eyes, and it works for every season. It’s also super fun that Radiant Orchid is the Pantone Colour of the Year!
I have been hearing a lot about the Maybelline Color Tattoo shadows, with people buying entire collections when they launch (cough *Kalyn* cough hee hee) so I HAD to try them out. It was easy to apply and surprisingly creamy. I used my fingertip to apply it all over my lid and it took two applications to get the vibrant purple shade I was hoping for. It claims to last for 24 hours, but without primer it lasted about 8 hours on me before it started creasing. That’s still pretty good in my books!
The Color Whisper Lip Balm was another new product for me. It’s one that I have been meaning to try for a while, but my lipstick/lipgloss drawer is overflowing! I am so glad I finally tried this out, because I love it! I am going to be repurchasing this for sure. It give a subtle “whisper” of colour without being too bold. It’s quite sheer, but still moisturizing. ALL OF THE COLOURS PLEASE!
Color Show is a chip resistant formula and is Formaldehyde, DBP and Toluene free. I’ve never used this line, so I was interested to see what the formula would be like. It’s fairly thin, I used 3 coats to achieve the opacity in the photo below. The round lid was easy to grip and it lasted for 3 days without chipping. I really love the colour, it’s a vibrant lavender shade that I am kind of obsessed with right now : )

Purple really suits you! I was a little nervous about purple as an eye shadow, but I think it looks really gorgeous! Not too overpowering. I like it.
