If you love Drugstore makeup than you are certainly familiar with Wet n Wild products. In my teen years I think I tried out every polish and lip gloss they had! It’s been a while since I have picked up anything from this brand, but after trying these goodies out I remember why I used to LOVE their stuff. It’s super affordable and great quality.

The Mega-Last Lip Color pulled a bit when applying but the colour was super pigmented! It’s a beautiful dark plum shade that really complimented the shadow without being too matchy. It has a slightly shimmery finish, and it wasn’t super moisturizing but had decent staying power. I got about two hours of wear before a needed a touch up (remember I am a lip biter/chewer so lipsticks never last long!)

The Perfect Pair Lip Wand is great for events where you only have a small purse and limited space. It’s the size of an eye liner, but one end is a pencil liner, and the other is a frosty lipstick. The colour is almost exactly the same as the Mega-Last Lip Color, it just has a lot more dimension. I found the lipstick pencil formula to be more moisturizing, and applying the liner first helped it last for a bit longer.

I haven’t used Wet n Wild in a long time, and I am generally quite critical of eyeshadows. So I was pleasantly surprised that this shadow had a nice smooth formula and pigmented shades. There was very little fallout. I really liked that the champagne lid colour had some shimmer but the brown crease colour was matte. The pearly highlighting shadow worked well for under the brow and they all blended nicely. This is one of my new favourite shadow trios. I usually only like one or two of the colours in a set like this, but I could see myself wearing all three!

love the wet n wild trios! i don’t have this one but i have walking one eggshells which is quite similar. i don’t really find lipsticks last long on me either. this is a very pretty look! love the way that you combine products and give a full face with your reviews 🙂

I am often routinely impressed by Wet ‘n Wild’s offerings…particularly their shadows! Some trios/sets are duds, but generally speaking, their quality exceeds the price! 🙂
