Left to right: Lavender Soap, Lime Basil, Apricot Nectar, Ginger Melon, Sunlit Grass, Tropical Rain, Orange Blossom, Pink Lemonade

I am beyond excited to share these polishes with you! The Revlon Parfumerie line launched last year and ever since I saw SwatchandReview‘s post this line in November I have been interested in trying them out. This polish line includes 24 scented colours, each one with a unique fragrance. I also love the design of these bottles. They were created to be reminiscent of tiny perfume bottles and I think they are totally adorable. And the round cap was easy to work with, I didn’t have any issues with it.

Overall I really liked these polishes, the formula was good and for the most part I really liked the scents! The lighter shades were a bit thin and required 3 coats but that’s normal for lighter shades regardless of the brand. The scents are only noticeable once the polish is dry, so don’t try to sniff the bottles at the store to get an idea of the fragrance (full disclosure – I definitely opened the bottle right away and smelled it expecting a lovely aroma but… it just smells like regular polish).

My favourite was Pink Lemonade, it’s a lovely pink shade similar to Essie’s Ballet Slippers, and it smells sooo good!

Lavender Soap
This is a very light lavender shade with a pearly finish (it almost looks white). The formula was good and it only required two coats for full coverage. The scent wasn’t too strong, just a mild lavender scent but not overpowering.

revlon-parfumerie-lime-basil-polish

Lime Basil
This one is a vibrant emerald green. I like the colour, but this was my least favourite in regards to the scent. To me it smells like a cleaning product, and I didn’t notice any basil fragrance. A plus was that it only required two coats.

Apricot Nectar
This peachy shade was one of my favourites. It had a strong citrus scent with hints of orange, which I love. It needed 3 coats for full opacity but you could get away with 2.

revlon-perfumerie-polish-ginger-melon

Ginger Melon
This coral/pink is bright and glossy. To me it smells like cherry bubblegum, so obviously I’m a fan. Nail polish that smells like Hubba Bubba? I’m into it. And it only required 2 coats.

revlon-parfumerie-sunlit-grass-polish

Sunlit Grass
This is a lovely sunflower yellow. It’s a bit streaky but that’s typical when working with yellow polish, and it needed 3 coats. It dried slightly darker than it looks in the bottle and the scent was quite strong. It smelled like lemon grass to me, I didn’t love the scent of this one.

revlon-perfumerie-polish-tropical-rain

Tropical Rain
A pretty blue shade with a pearly finish. If you went to The Body Shop and got a Tropical Rain body butter, this is exactly what it would smell like. It’s fresh and clean and the scent lingers. Only 2 coats needed.

revlon-perfumerie-polish-orange-blossom

Orange Blossom
This vibrant tangerine cream polish is another one of my favourites. The scent is very citrusy, I didn’t notice the blossom scent but I love anything citrus so I was fine with it. This one only needed 2 coats.

revlon-parfumerie-pink-pinapple-polish

Pink Lemonade
My favourite! This soft pale pink cream is such a pretty colour. It’s a bit thin and required 3 coats (you may even need to use 4) but it’s so worth it! It has a strong cotton candy  scent with a hint of pineapple. SO YUMMY!

These are just 8 of the 24 shades that Revlon released. Most Drugstores are still carrying them, so if you want to try these out it’s not too late! If you have tried them, let me know what your favourite is : )

Me too! I was sooo excited to try these. Apparently this was a thing in the 90’s?

Yeah I really disliked the Lime Basil scent. But the colour was nice 🙂

The bottles do have a bit of a feel of the old style perfume bottles, how cute! I have yet to try this line, but the scented polishes do intrigue me.

Such pretty packaging! I’ve actually really wanted to try these out, there’s one called Beachy but I think I’m more interested in the smell than the colour haha. Pink Lemonade looks fab on you 🙂

I know I did the same thing, I was most excited about the scents and less about the colour 🙂

They sound toxic! I can’t imagine how inhaling synthetic scent somehow formulated into nail polish can possibly be good for you. Please allow this comment to be posted. I think it is responsible to address the scientifically founded health hazards associated with products like this.

These are so pretty! I love the idea of scented polish, but haven’t tried any yet. How long does the scent last? A few days, or just hours?
