Spring Flower Nails with Essie

I am kind of obsessed with anything mint. Even the bridesmaid dresses at my wedding were mint! Essie’s Mint Candy Apple has been one of my favourite polish colours for years, so when I wanted to create a fun and easy spring nail look of course I had to use it : ) This only look about 5 minutes total for each hand and is really simple!

Items Used:

  • Essie Mint Candy Apple
  • Essie Tart Deco (petals of the flower)
  • Essie Butler Please (center of the flower)
  • Essence  Nail Art Stylist

Steps:

  1. Apply two coats of Mint Candy Apple
  2. Use small end of the dotting tool to apply a dot of Butler Please in the center of each nail
  3. Use large end of the dotting tool to apply the “petals” in short strokes (redip into the polish for each petal)
  4. Let dry for at least 20 minutes before applying top coat to avoid streaking

What do you think of my spring flower nail look? What is your all time favourite polish colour?

Beautifully done! Honestly, I’m still trying to get out of my nudes and greys rut. You have such lovely shaped nails btw (hope that doesn’t come across weird)
