I was recently selected to review my second Influenster VoxBox! I’m a bit late with this post because the delivery man gave the package to the woman across the hall by accident and she was away on vacation. Turns out she had placed a Victoria’s Secret order the week before and was expecting a package so she opened it! It wasn’t until she saw what was inside that she realized it wasn’t for her and she dropped it off to me right away. Honest people – they do exist!
If you have never heard of Influenster, here’s a little background:
“Influenster is a community of trendsetters, social media masterminds, and educated consumers who live to give opinions of products and experiences. Influensters meet here to learn about new products from our favorite brands as well as review the products they already use in their day-to-day lives.”
Not everyone who signs up for Influenster is selected to review a VoxBox, it really depends what types of interests you have and what types of products you have previously reviewed on the site. I filled out a survey over a month ago and was selected to review a few of the Victoria’s Secret Sport items.
At first I was so excited, I love Victoria’s Secret clothing, sleepwear and bras! I didn’t know what I would be getting exactly, but my heart sank a bit when I opened the package. Inside I found a sports bra and exercise leggings. Don’t get me wrong, I was looking forward to wearing both items, I just wasn’t looking forward to reviewing them on my blog. I am human, and the though of posting photos of me in nothing but tights and a bra made me feel terrified! The expectation is that you will review the items you are sent, so I had to get a little creative with how I was going to do so. I’m not about to show my boobs on the interwebs, but I took photos with a workout top over the bra so you can still see the shape it gives!
I will say that I was tempted to use the liquify tool many times. MANY TIMES. But we are all friends right? And my body is my body, imperfections and all. So you are going to get a completely honest review of these items.
Let’s do this!
Incredible by Victoria’s Secret Sports Bra ($49.50 – $59.50)
I was sent this bra in my size which is 32 D. The pattern I received doesn’t seem to be available on the website though.
“A truly Incredible maximum support sport bra that’s perfect for running, boxing and high-impact workouts. With Body-Wick fabric to keep you cool and dry, and bonded, seamless technology for extra comfort.” – Victoria’s Secret
So I don’t love the pattern but who cares, it’s covered by a shirt when I wear it anyway! It has a concealed underwire so it really gives a lot of support. It’s tough to get on and off because it’s meant to fit tight but once it’s on your girls are not going ANYWHERE. This was the first time I’ve worn a bra that kept my boobs firmly in place even while I ran on the treadmill.
This one doesn’t give you the uni-boob look you can sometimes get with sports bras, but personally I think it gives a little too much lift! I have some serious cleavage going on with this bra! The cups have some light padding which is great for those who still like to have curves and shape while wearing exercise apparel. This is perfect for girls that hate their boobs being flattened by a sports bra.
Knockout by Victoria’s Secret Tight ($64.50 – $72.50)
“Nylon performance fabric with four-way stretch creates a second-skin fit for the sexiest butt ever. With a comfy, curve-loving mid-rise and Body-Wick that keeps you cool and dry throughout any workout.” – Victoria’s Secret
These medium rise tights are just as good as my Lulu’s. There is a drawstring in the waist (though I have no idea why you’d need it) and a hidden waistband pocket which is great for my gym key. They are a bit long on me (I’m 5″2) but you could tuck them under or just get them hemmed if it really bothers you.
Other than a small logo on the left side they are solid black and are super comfortable.
That’s it for this Voxbox! It was neat to try out something other than cosmetics for a change. Having some new workout gear has motivated me to actually go to gym and workout : )
Have you tried any Victoria’s Secret Sport clothing? What’s your favourite sports bra? Let me know in the comments!

Wow very cool! I’ve seen this line a lot lately, I think VS is really pushing their sportswear line. Everything looks great on you! The liquify tool was not needed at ALL!

I definitely think they are trying to promote this line more lately. VS isn’t where I’d think to go for workout gear but I am impressed with the sports bras! Similar to Lulu but more affordable.

Woah that bra looks pretty legit, I’ve always used the tata tamers from Lululemon but these might be worth a try!

Same here, I usually go Lululemon “Full Support” bras all the way. But these are just as supportive – if not more. And the VS ones are a tad more affordable as well!
