We all do it. We scroll through our favourite blogs or flip through magazines for inspiration. We spend hours on Pinterest creating boards dedicated to our favourite makeup looks (or was that just me…). Now you can take it a step further – steal the look for yourself!

Wet N Wild (our CBB brand of the month) has created a new app that allows you to Steal The Look from any photos you see! Upload a photo from your camera roll or snap a photo on the spot and the app will show you what Wet N Wild products you can use to Steal The Look and recreate it yourself! And it gets better!

You’ll have a chance to win all the makeup you’ll need to “steal” a look of your own. Be sure to stick around and find out more details below!

I “stole” Scarlett Johansson’s makeup look from the 2011 Oscars.

How does the app work?

• Open your camera roll and select the look you want to steal
• Swipe the lips to select the lip shade (you can toggle left or right to adjust the colour if needed)
• Swipe the eyelid to select the overall eyeshadow colour
• Swipe the eyelids to select the crease eyeshadow colour
• Confirm the 3 shades that have been selected

Almost done…

• Select the skin tone which is closest to yours (this doesn’t effect the makeup selected, it only impacts the model who shows off your final look)
• Wait while the app works it’s magic
• Bam! 3-4 products will be selected for you to recreate your makeup look!
• You can share this on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook and even purchase right from the app (US only).

I didn’t have that exact eyeliner but I did have another Wet N Wild liner so I used that instead!

I had a lot of fun with this app! It was fun to play around with different photos to see what makeup ended up being selected. The colour selection was a bit tricky so I found that zooming in on the photo was the best way to get an accurate colour match when swiping. Overall the app is fun and easy to use! Also Wet N Wild  products are all super affordable so no matter what makeup the app selects you can recreate a glamorous look without breaking the bank.
