Last Minute DIY Halloween Costume: Rosie the Riveter

It’s time for another DIY Halloween costume!

All you need for this costume is a denim (or chambray) collared shirt and jeans. Boots work if you have them, but any shoes will work. They key is the red bandana and the “flexing arm” pose. Try adding some winged eyeliner and red lipstick to complete the vintage look!

It’s comfortable so you could wear this at work all day without it getting in the way. My last job had an annual Halloween costume contest but a lot of people weren’t sure what costume to wear that wouldn’t get in the way. This costume would be great for something like that.

Red Bandana Headband: Claires, Chambray Shirt: Forever 21,
Boots: Charlotte Russe, Jeans: Levi’s

This look has become popular in the last few years because it’s a fun vintage look that’s super easy to put together! Toss on a Canadian Tuxedo and a red bandana and you’re set!

Buffy was whimpering the whole time I was taking these photos because she wanted to sit on my lap. You probably can’t tell but she is REALLY happy here : )
