Elsa: Frozen Makeup Tutorial

I was feeling inspired to do a Frozen themed makeup tutorial and I just couldn’t wait for winter to arrive! This movie is a classic all year round and now is a good a time as any to replicate this pretty Ice Queen makeup look. I loved Frozen, it’s such a sweet story and (much to my husbands dismay) I’m always a fan of musicals.

I had a lot of fun doing this makeup look, I even got a chance to use the Nudy Blue circle lenses I got from LensCircle.com (psst you can win a pair for yourself by entering the giveaway below)

Here’s my makeup look!

Elsa has rosy cheeks but she also has a bit of redness on the tip of her nose! I used my NARS blush to give my nose that “just in the from the cold” look.

What I used:

Eyes

  • Shadow: mark. Wonderfleur Color Swing Mix it Up Eye Compact
  • Liner: “Serious” shadow from theBalm Nude ‘Tude Nude Eyeshadow Palette
  • Mascara: Benefit They’re Real Mascara

Face

  • Foundation: Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation in Fair-Light Neutral
  • Concealer: Derma Color Twin Set in D62/P11
  • Blush: NARS Orgasm
  • Bronzer: NARS Laguna

Lips

  • Revlon Colourburst Lacquer Balm in Whimsical

I’d have to say my favourite Disney movie is The Little Mermaid simply because I watched it so many times growing up. What is your favourite Disney movie? Let me know in the comments!

It’s such a great look, I love purple on you and the lenses are pretty cool too!
May I ask what’s your lighting set up like? Your photos are gorgeous and I’m currently shopping around for a decent blog photos light for my super dark dorm room.

yea, circle lens can really change up and add to a look. there are SO many kinds out there!!!! i’ve never tried but sometimes the ‘lets play with makeup’ part of me wishes i had a few in stock.

i think you got the eyeshadow spot on. her look is pretty simple so thankfully its re-creatable 🙂

Thanks Jenn! I rarely wear them but I love the effect they have on a dramatic makeup look.

This looks so awesome! I love seeing Elsa tutorials. It’s such a pretty cartoon look that I think would honestly look good for daily wear!
