When I think of Arbonne I think of skincare. They are known for using natural botanical ingredients as their mission is to create skincare that is “pure, safe and beneficial.” Many of their products are also vegan! I’ve sampled several things from their anti-aging line and (though pricey) they work well for my skin.
But did you know that Arbonne carried a cosmetics line as well? I’ve been lucky enough to have my makeup done with all Arbonne products a few times by Mara Wilde (see the photoshoots here and here!) and loved it!
Arbonne consultant Jenn sent me these two products to try out recently to review. Please feel free to reach out to her with any questions!
Arbonne Lip Saver Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 $9.00 US / $10 CAD
I am loving this! I have tried so many different lip products, always on the hunt for one that will soothe my ever-chapped lips. This one is super soft and glides on easily. It has a light fragrance and the SPF is a nice touch, especially now that I’m living in San Francisco and it’s sunny all year round!
I’ve had this in my purse for a few weeks now and use it all the time. It also works nicely underneath lipsticks to give my lips a little extra boost of hydration.
Arbonne Eye Shadow in Divine Plum $19.00 US / $27 CAD
This mineral infused shadow has a deep plum shade with subtle gold shimmer. The colour is beautiful, as you know purple is my favourite eyeshadow colour!
The description says it’s highly pigmented but I actually find it quite sheer. I was eventually able to layer it up nicely and once it was on it did not move. At all. I didn’t get any creasing with this shadow all day which is pretty impressive! However, I think the shadow is a bit overpriced and the price difference for Canadians is a little crazy!
In my experience with Arbonne cosmetics they look beautiful on the skin and are great quality. That being said, I know a lot of drugstore eyeshadows that would perform just as well at half the price. If you are a makeup artist with a focus on going green, this line is for you! Otherwise you can likely find comparable products at your local drugstore.
Have you tried Arbonne before? If so what is your favourite product? Let me know in the comments!

My sister sells Arbonne and I have had the same experience with their eyeshadows – sheer but buildable! I really like their mascara – it gives crazy length! And their SeaSource line is divine – though pretty expensive. I’ve also been having pretty good luck with their spot treatment so far!
