The Wet n Wild Mega Last lipsticks – The Berry Shades

November 26, 2014 5 Comments

lipsticks

Left to right: Mauve Outta here, Spiked with Rum, Wine Room

Hay girl – you know what time it is? It’s Wet n Wild Wednesday!

I have a whole bunch of Wet n Wild Mega Last lipsticks ($2.29) in lots of different colours so I’ve decided to split them up and swatch them for you in groups. Last week I showed you the pinks, this week I’m showing you the berry shades.

If you haven’t tried Wet n Wild Mega Last lipsticks before they are bullet sizes lippies that come in over 24 colours! They have a matte finish and are fairly long lasting. You really can’t beat the variety and value!

mauve outta here spiked with rum

Left: Mauve Outta Here                    Right: Spiked with Rum

Mauve Outta Here is a cool toned purple that was my favourite of the three. It applied the smoothest and it faded to a colour that reminded me of Benefit’s Lollitint!

Spiked with Rum is a brownish red that reminds me of something Buffy the Vampire Slayer would wear. It was a little more drying than the others and I didn’t love the colour (on me). I’ll pass on this one!

wine room

                               Left: Wine Room

Wine Room was named perfectly, it totally reminds me of berry stained lips. I usually stick to more pink or purple shades but this colour had me considering berry as my new go-to lip colour!

Have you tried any of the Wet N Wild lipsticks lately? What’s your favourite Wet N Wild product? Let me know in the comments!

Ooh, all three of these shades are gorgeous on you, Megan! I’ve been super impressed with the Wet N’ Wild lippies I’ve tried in the past and these look like no exception :)

They seem to be a staple in so many people’s makeup bags! Such much colour selection at a great price : )
