New Releases from NUDESTIX: Holiday Kit and Lip Pens

If you are anything like me you hit the snooze button a few too many times before finally dragging yourself out of bed in the morning. I lay in bed, half asleep, and start checking things off the list of what I’ll have time for. If I sleep in 10 more minutes I won’t have time for breakfast, but that’s ok. Stretch it to an extra 15 minutes? There goes my winged liner. YOU CAN’T RUSH WINGED LINER.

So needless to say I love products that help me cheat and get ready super quickly while still leaving with makeup that says “I put in some effort.”

NUDESTIX to the rescue! All their products are in pen or pencil form and require nothing more than the product and your fingertips to apply.

I’ve posted about this brand before and I wanted to share with you that for their first holiday collection NUDESTIX has launched their #GuiltyLove Holiday Kit for $55 CAD (an $85 value). The collectible tin is designed by Toronto Artist Jessica Gorlicky and houses three of their most popular Magnetic Eye Colour pencils. The Magnetic Eye Colour pencils are water-proof, crease-proof and offer long lasting wear. The colours are meant to give you a “nude but better” makeup look.

These pencils have such a creamy texture and they glide on my eyelids with no tugging. This is my ultimate lazy day product, I just swipe it across my lids and blend with my fingertips – done. This would make a great gift for the makeup lover on your shopping list!

They’ve also added a new permanent product to their lineup – Lip Pens! The Lip Pens ($28 CAD) come in seven shades with glossy and matte finishes. They have a minty sensation when you first apply them but it fades after a few minutes. As the brand name suggests the colours are all in the neutral family and the formula is really nice. I prefer the glossy finish but the matte formula is creamier than I expected.

Overall I am (continuing) to love NUDESTIX, they are just so easy to wear and great quality. You can find NUDESTIX at Sephora and Urban Outfitters locations.

P.s. I did a “Get ready with me” video featuring these products so watch out for that coming soon!

Nude lip colours aren’t something I’d reach for in my normal makeup routine but trying these lip pens has made me want to wear nude colours more!

Haha me too! The gift sets are nice because you get to try a few different colours out and it’s more affordable than purchasing them individually. Let me know what you think if you try them!
