The Lob (long bob) has been around for years but in 2014 it became the look of the year! Celebrities were leading the charge with more than a few ladies chopping off their locks in favour of this shorter look.
This style works for so many hair types and I think that’s why people seem to love it. I have super fine hair and the long-bob givs me a little length without weighing my hair down. Here are my favourites!
Kristen Bell

This lob is perfect for those with fine hair. Kristen makes this cut look so effortless by adding casual beachy waves! I am also in love with the colour, it’s the perfect shade of California blonde!
Sarah Michelle Gellar

This is more of a bob than a lob but I had to include it because – Buffy. Sarah Michelle Gellar has had long hair for years so it was lovely to see her chop off several inches and rock this much shorter style! It looks amazing on her and this is yet another great example of a lob/bob for fine hair!
Not that I’m playing favourites, but if I was SMG would win every time.

It was the haircut heard around the world! When LC cut off her signature long tresses late last year everyone was all about that lob. Her choppy, blunt cut is so pretty and works so well with her thick wavy hair.
Lucy Hale

The Pretty Pretty Liars actress cut her hair right before she walked the red carpet last year. And by right before I mean the day of the event! Talk about a bold move. Lucy Hale has gorgeous hair that looks amazing at any length but this fresh shorter cut takes the cake!
Zoe Saldana

New mom to twins Zoe Saldana decided to say goodbye to her long hair in favour of this super chic cut! By adding some silky curls this look is red carpet ready – no updo required!

Your long hair is lovely! My “growing out” process seems to be taking forever, I wish mine was long too : ) The bob or long bob is def my comfort zone though, I’ve had it many times!
