A few months ago I became a member of the Fashion Magazine Beauty Panel! The Canadian publication has weekly challenges for the panel and this week was all about Fashion Week. You can read my full post with additional photos here!
“Challenge 88: Which trend from the Fall 2015 runways can you not wait to try out?”
My choice was the Rodarte “crystal eyeliner” which was used during their Fall 2015 runway show. Models had strips of Swarovski crystals applied under their eyes for a glamorous and glittery look. Bare brows and lids let the sparkle take center stage!
I recreated this look with nail art gems and a little eyelash glue. I skipped the eyeliner and added a touch of pearly pink highlighter to my lids.

I think your interpretation of the look is far more flattering than their take on it. Whereas yours is spaced out and sparkly, theirs is almost like a pure strip of press on rhinestones that looks VERY artificial (especially since it looks like theirs is PEELING on the ends!) If I remember, I’ll try to replicate this for a night out, as I think your take on it is very fresh and flattering.
