If you’ve read my blog before or I seen my Instagram you know that I am pretty much obsessed with my French Bulldog Buffy. My pal Nancy (from the blog SpiffyKerms.com) also has a dog and he just so happens to be an adorable Pomeranian named Alfie. Since I am moving back to Toronto next week we figured it was probably time they finally met. Nancy and Alfie came into the city to spend the day in San Francisco and we took our pups on a walk to the beautiful Dolores Park.
At the top of the hill you can get a stunning view of the city of San Francisco. Clearly Buffy is really taking in the sights : ) Unfortunately it was an overcast and cloudy day so the views weren’t as nice as they normally are but it was still a fun way to spend the afternoon!
Alfie is a little protective of Nancy so he had a hard time letting Buffy get close but he was a trooper and simply looked the other way. I mean that literally, he looked the other way anytime I brought Buffy close to him like in the photo above (I was dying of laughter). It was the cutest thing! Thankfully we were able to get a few photos of them together. Alfie is such a sweet dog and by the end of the day was snuggling up to me like we’d known each other for years!
With my purse as a divider they were content to sit and rest while we grabbed lunch at Tartine Bakery!
It was such a fun day and I wish that Nancy and I had met sooner so that we could have spent more time hanging out. But I’m thankful that we met and got to spend the last few weeks exploring California together!

Are you excited to be moving back? Was that the plan all along? I’m sure you’ll miss your time in beautiful San Fran! Toronto has forgotten that it is spring this week and there has been a little snow in the air the past two days. Maybe by the time you are back, it will be back to normal spring temps! 😉
P.S.- Love how Buffy is sitting flat on her butt. Adorbs!

We moved here for a year to start but decided to move back since I am unable to get a work visa in the US : ( If we were both able to work we would have stayed longer for sure. It was a really fun year in SF, we will miss it!
