Left: Moisture Pencil     Right: Clean Up Pencil

Nudestix recently launched their Skin Pencils as a compliment to their current lineup of eye, cheek and lip pencils. When they offered to send me a few to try out I was all “heck yes!” I’m a huge fan of their Magnetic Eye Pencils which are waterproof cream eyeshadows that you blend with your fingertips. They kindly sent me the Moisture Pencil and the Clean Up Pencil and I snapped these photos the day they arrived in the mail because I was so excited to try them out!

Moisture Pencil ($24 US/$28 CAD)

This bad boy is a waxy balm that you can apply to any area that’s dry or flakey to instantly smooth and hydrate. Jojoba oil, vitamin E and C, argan oil and shea butter keep dry patches moisturized all day. You can use this to smooth over blemishes before applying concealer and even as a lip primer if you have chapped lips. It will help your lipstick stay put for hours without bleeding. I’ve been using it on a few breakouts I have picked at (I know, I know) and it works really well to create a barrier so I can apply concealer over top and it doesn’t look flakey or irritated.

Clean Up Pencil ($24 US/$28 CAD)

Think of this as a magic erasure for your makeup mistakes. When I mess up my winged liner I usually have to go get makeup remover, cotton pads and tissues then go to town trying to remove the liner without dripping the makeup remover on my skin and messing up my foundation. Now I just run this pencil along the area I need to fix and wipe it off either using my finger or a Q-tip. It takes even liquid liner off like a charm and leaves the rest of my makeup undisturbed. As Nudestix says “you just draw, swipe, and wipe.” It’s that easy.

Have you tried anything from the Nudestix collection? Let me know in the comments!

The star is the Clean Up Pencil in my opinion. I use it to fix my eyeliner all the time and it removes my “mistakes” easily without smudging the rest of my makeup!

It’s amaaazing for that. Swipe the stick, wipe with a q-tip and it removes the liner so precisely. Plus leaves my skin soft and not dry like normal makeup removers. Worth the $28!

I’ve heard a lot about these, but haven’t tried them yet! I really want to though!

You should test them out next time you are at Sephora. The formulas are pretty outstanding. As someone who loves bright colours they are a little “safe” for me but you can’t find better products to get that “no makeup” makeup look!

I love the sounds of these. ‘Correction’ sticks just sound so much easier than using a cleanser or something that affects your whole face.

It’s like a balm/waxy texture and makes it so easy to wipe off any mistakes : )
