Right before I moved back to Toronto last week my pal Nancy and I had one last hangout in San Jose! We made sure to stop by Santana Row which is basically The Grove of San Jose. We had stopped by once before and loved strolling around checking out the stores and all the cafe’s and restaurants.

This outdoor shopping area has so many different shops from Madewell to Crate & Barrel. You could easily spend a whole day there shopping and eating lunch with friends!

Not to mention there are lots of fun spots to take outfit of the day photos : )

• Shoes: Vans

The occasional car passed by as we walked around but most of the area is a promenade that you can stroll along from one end to the other. It didn’t hurt that it was an absolutely beautiful day!

Seeing as it was the last time I would see Nancy (SAD FACE) we took a million selfies. Most of them with me laughing hysterically like in the photo below. If you’ve ever met Nancy you know why. Girl is hilarious!

We did manage to get at least one photo with us both smiling!

It was the perfect last visit with my new BFF. The next day Nancy left for vacation and a few days later my husband and I moved back to Toronto permanently!

It is bittersweet to be back in Toronto, and I love that I have these photos to look back on and remember my time in California. Though I’m back in Toronto now I still have a few more San Francisco themed posts coming in the next few weeks!
