I’m 21 weeks! Geez louise, where is the time going? I’m half way through the second trimester now and I feel like I have a bit more energy these days. We just moved into our new apartment this week and it’s been kind of crazy so I’m looking forward to getting settled and making Portland feel more like home.
I wanted to do a bump update wearing this Toronto vs Everybody from the Canadian brand Peace Collective before it gets too tight (and trust me, it won’t be long now lol). I got this as a going away gift from my BFF Paula and I love it. It reminds me of home plus it’s super comfortable. It’s also fun watching people read the text and look really confused : )
Bonus? For every item sold at Peace Collective, a week of school meals are distributed to a Canadian child in need through Breakfast for Learning Canada. And I think that’s pretty rad.
What’s Happening At 21 Weeks:
- Baby is about the size of a carrot and weighs about 3/4 of a pound
- Flutters have turned into full on kicks and punches. This baby might have a future career in martial arts!
- I’m hungry all the time these days. Like, ALL THE TIME. I’ve had to stock up on fruits and veggies to snack on otherwise I would probably consume a whole box of Oreos in one sitting.
- Incase you missed last weeks’ Gender Reveal post: we are having a girl! Picking a name for this little lady is proving to be quite the challenge.
I hope you are all having a lovely week! I am looking forward to watching the final Hunger Games movies this weekend. What winter Blockbusters are you most excited about? Let me know in the comments!

At this point, I feel like in my head you’re 9 months pregnant because I’ve known SECRETLY HEHEHEHEHE about your pregnancy (omg please know that it doesn’t mean you LOOK like that though! YOU ARE SO CUTE BTW). I love that pregnancy has the word nancy in it. Random. Another ‘btw’, love all your OOTDs and you documenting your little baby babes in there.

Haha I know you were one of the first people to know so it’s old news now : ) It’s going to be fun to look back on these posts once the baby is here and remember what each week/stage was like!

So excited to watch you via “media” – hard to believe you’re already 5 months! This will make the winter seem shorter 🙂

I like that people from home can keep updated with that’s going on during this time. One of the great things about a blog!

Love these baby bump posts? Will you be blogging about baby when she arrives?
Megan Joy says
Thanks Amy : ) I’m not sure if I’ll blog about her! I feel like I will but I might not post many photos of her.

Ooo a little girl! That’s so exciting. A future CBB member in the making!
Megan Joy says
Haha totally! I would have been happy either way but I am looking forward to all the girly things in this baby’s future : )

I miss feeling those kicks and punches, it’s such a special and unique feeling!
I love the shirt! I’ve never heard of Peace Collective before. I just checked out their site and will definitely order a shirt or two. I love the cause they support.
Megan Joy says
I didn’t know about them either until my friend bought me this shirt! I agree, it’s a great cause to support. I am loving all the movement these days, it’s a constant reminder that she’s healthy and kicking in there! : )

I love reading along to these. It makes it a bit easier on me following along through this incredible journey with us both being so far away!
I love that you’re having a baby girl and also a little jealous! Love ya babe and keep up with the posts
Megan Joy says
Thanks for reading and commenting Sarah! I feel like I’m sharing a lot about this pregnancy (hopefully not boring people lol) but it’s nice to feel like I can share it with my friends and family that are so far away. Love and miss you my dear!
