It’s been a few weeks since I did a bump update so I thought I’d snap a few photos today and post one! Buffy decided she wanted to keep me company so you can see her in the background being all cute and adorable : )

What I wore:

• Top: Pink Blush Maternity Striped Cowl Neck Top (exact)
• Jeans: Thyme Maternity Skinny Jeans (similar)

I love that the baby is constantly moving, it’s such a great reminder that she is healthy and growing. It can be so scary in the first few months when you know there’s a tiny baby in there but you can’t tell if it’s ok unless you have an ultrasound or doppler. Now I just need to drink some juice or eat food and I can feel her doing the salsa on my bladder! And I don’t mind. Not even a little!

What’s Happening At 23 Weeks:

• Baby is about the size of an eggplant and weighs just over a pound
• We can now feel and see her moving on the outside too! If I put my hand on my tummy I can feel her kick which is a totally new and amazing sensation.
• I was super sick during the first trimester so I didn’t gain any weight. Now that I’m almost done the second trimester I am making up for lost time and gaining weight steadily – which is a good thing!
• I’m waking up in the night with leg cramps which is common in pregnancy. Apparently eating a banana a day helps? I’ll be trying that next week and see if it improves.
• I made a baby registry which was kind of overwhelming but also really fun and exciting!
