Welcome to my “7 Days of LUSH” series! Each day for the next week I’ll be posting about a different LUSH bath bomb, bath melt or bubble bar. There will be a mix of items from their permanent collections as well as some holiday goodies that you can still purchase online (some may be available in store locations depending on availability).
Day 1 features a bath bomb that every Lushie knows and loves. It’s a holiday favourite!
Golden Wonder Bath Bomb (US, Canada)
This bath bomb looks like a shimmery golden wrapped gift! It contains cognac and lime essential oils which gives it a lovely citrus scent. It starts out a glittery yellow shade, but once it starts to fizz in the tub there’s a bright turquoise center that makes your bath look like a blue and gold rainbow!

What I like:
- It smells amazing. It’s nice to find a holiday product that doesn’t smell like peppermint, pumpkin or gingerbread (although I love those scents too!)
- It’s so fun to watch this bomb fizz and swirl around making rainbows of colour
- The glitter rinsed off my skin easily and didn’t cling to the tub either
What I don’t like:
- Though it washed away easily, the glitter might be a turn off for some people
- It wasn’t particularly moisturizing or hydrating for my skin

Love it. I have to pop by Lush later today. I’m totally just falling back in love with them after not having used their products for years. I’m going to have to take a look at this one.

I know they still have it on their website for buy one get one free! I feel the same, I haven’t been using their bath bombs for a long time but now that I’m taking baths more I am LOVING them!

Yeah, it’s taking a lot out of me to not buy them all. I kind of like to buy them in person because I want to know what they smell like. Once I’ve tried them all, I have a feeling I will be buying them online just so I don’t have to make the trek to Eaton Centre to buy them.
