7 Days of Lush: Day 4 – Frozen Bath Bomb

January 14, 2016 8 Comments

lush frozen bath bomb

It’s day 4 of “7 Days of Lush”! I recently bought this bath bomb from the Lush location here in Portland. As you can tell by the name this one is inspired by the classic Disney movie Frozen. Don’t worry, you won’t have to listen to “Let It Go” while using it I promise!

Frozen Bath Bomb (US, Canada)

Frozen is currently part of the Oxford Street Collection, but I’m not sure if it will end up being part of their permanent lineup or not. This two-toned bath bomb will make your tub a beautiful ice blue and make you feel like you are soaking in mermaid water! The silver sparkles are so pretty but it’s really hard to get a good photo of them. The effect is stunning.

This bomb contains rose oil, grapefruit and neroli and shares the same scent as the Lush “Happy Happy Joy Joy” conditioner!

Just relaxing in a bath full of blue & glitter. NBD.

See how this winter wonderland bath bomb works it’s magic!

What I like:

  • The blue and silver water made me feel like the Queen of Arendelle!
  • I love anything rose scented so I really enjoyed the smell of this one

What I don’t like:

  •  There was some glitter that settled on the bottom of the tub but I took a shower afterward anyway so it came off easily

This made me want to jump in the car & drive to the nearest LUSH store (about 50 miles from here) –

Oh my, this looks beautiful! And I bet it smells heavenly as well. The glitter bombs are gorgeous, but oh-so-annoying to clean! I used the Yog Nog in my tiny, gross apartment bathtub a few weeks ago and am still finding glitter in the crevices. The sacrifices for wanting to feel like a mermaid in the bathtub!

Haha I know it’s so enjoyable until you drain the tub and realize all the glitter left behind lol I find showering after my bath helps rinse it all out easily!

I have not tried a bath bomb with glitters yet. I can see how it would be fun while you’re soaking in it, but not so much if you have to clean it up afterwards.
This one sounds like fun, and the blue water made me think of a mermaid for some reason. 🙂

Totally made me think of mermaid water too! The glitter can be annoying for sure but I usually shower after I take a bath anyway (just my body) so it usually rinkses away without any issue.

Aww! I’m sad this isn’t part of the permanent! I want it! And that picture you took! A sparkley wonderland!

I wish I had stocked up on them! If only I had known how cool this one was, darnit!
