It’s day 5 of “7 Days of Lush” and today today’s bath bomb is out of this world!
Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb (US, Canada)
This seasonal products is only available during the holidays. It contains Brazilian Orange Oil and Bergamot Oil and the caramel honey fragrance is the same as the popular Lush Honey I Washed the Kids soap. I loved watching the blue and yellow colours swirl around the tub with a final glitter reveal that made the water sparkle. A perfect representation of the night sky and stars.
However, as you’ll see in the video demo below after a minute it sank to the bottom of the tub and you couldn’t really see any of the magic. Not sure why this happened! It’s the first time that’s happened to me with a Lush bath bomb. Has this ever happened to you?

What I like:
- The honey scent is lovely and not too overpowering
- The colour of the water was almost opaque and made for a really unique bath experience.
- The shimmer plus the dark blue colour of the water was simply beautiful
What I don’t like:
- It kept sinking to the bottom of the tub : (

Mine did the same thing. Kept sinking to the bottom, but it was still fun because I wasn’t expecting the colour. Then I noticed the sparkles and it got even better, lol!

Maybe it’s just a weird thing with this bath bomb that it always sinks? Either way the glitter makes up for it lol

It’s too bad that it kept sinking – looking at it fizz around is part of the fun! 🙂 It sounds like it smelled great though!

It definitely did, and it made the tub look soooo pretty. But I do wish it floated so I could have seen all the fizzy magic : )
