I’m so excited to be attending FEAST Portland this year! I just missed it last year because I moved here in October (FEAST takes place in September). Portland is all about good eats, so it only makes sense that one of their biggest festivals is completely dedicated to sharing the best food the city has to offer. This year it runs from September 15-18.
This 3-day festival is so popular that most events sell out within days. Fortunately they just announced three new events, so you can still get tickets (if you’re quick!)

Cocktail Crawl: Drink like A Pro
Deciding on a drink can be a harrowing experience, don’t be that guy. Join Bon Appétit’s editors on a cocktail tour of Downtown PDX as we learn all kinds of bartender secrets – from cocktail ice to whiskey 101 – by the end you’ll be a drinking pro.
Inside the Bon Appétit Test Kitchen
Ever wonder how recipes in the BA Test Kitchen make their way onto the pages of the magazine? Bon Appétit’s food editors offer guests a glimpse into the recipe process (lots of cooking—and tasting!) as they explore some of the dishes developed for their October 2016 Issue.
Wine vs. Beer: This Time It’s Personal
Ladies and gentlemen, let’s get ready to rumble! It’s round three of Feast Portland’s epic Drink Tank panel, Wine vs. Beer. The audience will taste both pairings and vote for the pairing they think is a knockout punch.
FEAST Portland is about more than just celebrating great food. It’s about giving back. Over the last four years, FEAST has raised over $230,000 to help end childhood hunger. This year FEAST is partnering with Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon School Breakfast Program. Every ticked purchased helps support this amazing cause!
