Fall Makeup Look: Featuring NEW Nudestix Magnetic Matte Eye Color

It’s fall! That means it’s time to get a pumpkin spice latte and bust out my leggings and a cosy sweater. I know, I’m just one top-knot away from being full-blown #basic (which I am) so I’ll pretend I didn’t just have a PSL and a pumpkin scone (which I did).

Full disclosure: I own a pair of knitted UGGs that I wear as slippers and I regret nothing.

With fall also comes the season of vampy lips, smokey eyes and generally darker and more sultry makeup looks. As someone who generally opts for more natural makeup, I was excited to see that Nudestix just released a line of Magnetic Matte Eye Colors ($24 USD, $28 CAD). These matte eyeshadow pencils come in several beautiful earthy tones that are totally perfect for fall.

Cream eyeshadows are my jam. They are easy to apply and usually require only your fingertips to blend. Can I get an amen? Don’t get me wrong, I love powder and pigment shadows as well. But the majority of the time I’m all about “swipe and blend” makeup. This 3-in-1 formula is an eye shadow, liner and primer in one!

I received two shades, Fig (a redish brown) and Slate (a dark browish grey). I am obsessed with Fig and have been wearing it a ton lately. I use it on my lids and also apply it along my lower lash line. It’s a great “natural” smokey eye option and not to get too cheesy, but the colour totally reminds me of the changing fall leaves.

Fig on the lids and lower lash line. Slate as liner, and blended in the crease. Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color in “Angel” on my inner corners.

On lips: Nudestix Gel Lip + Cheek Pencil in Raven

The formula is extremely long lasting and didn’t budge for 8+ hours. It’s super pigmented as well! While I felt weird skipping my usual winged liquid liner, I like how soft this natural smokey eye look turned out 🙂

What are your favourite fall makeup products? Do you have a go-to dark lipstick shade? Let me know in the comments!

Both those shades are gorgeous on you. I love fig. I don’t have knitted uggs (they sound comfy!) but I do have a pair of uggs that I left back home in Canada… and I regret it. I need them here!

I have been wanting to try Nudestix for the longest time, but something has held me back. I know, the price! I think I may have redeemed some ipsy points for something from Nudestix. I wish it were either of the two shades you got. I’m a cream shadow lover, especially cream sticks, and I love those two neutrals. Perfect for you!

I love the look you created, it looks so chic and like it took way more products! I love Fig, it is the ultimate fall shade!

These are gorgeous colours! I love cream stick eye colours and I only recently got a deluxe NudeStix in Taupe, really pretty. They last surprisingly long but I still can’t get rid of my Bobbi Brown ones! LOVE. Thanks for the post

I enjoyed your review of this brand although I am not into “matte” shades but the colors look pretty on you! 🙂

You always look so pretty even if all you did was “swipe and blend” 🙂 This is my ideal eyeshadow application technique as well. In the mornings, I cannot be bothered!
