I am all about things that help grocery shopping easier. It’s one of my least favorite tasks – anyone else feel this way? While I try my best to plan our weekly grocery trip for the weekend (when my husbands can come along and help with the kiddos) we often have to go during the week as well. With Willow in the carseat I’m faced with these two options:
- Put the carseat in the shopping cart and pile groceries around her (honestly this is what I do most of the time lol)
- Attach the carseat to the stroller and pile things in the stroller basket (while hoping it doesn’t appear that I’m trying to steal)
Enter the Binxy Baby Shopping Cart Hammock. This is the gender neutral pattern “Triangles” which if you know me is right up my alley. Give me all the gray!
So how does it work? You attach the hooks to either side of the shopping cart and then secure it with the velcro straps (see below).
Check out my review of the DockATot Deluxe
There is also a longer strap underneath because – get this – you can also place your carseat directly into the sling! That way you still have full access to the basket of the shopping cart while being able to keep your sleeping baby cosy in their carseat. It’s amazing!
Incase you’re wondering how the carseat option looks, take a look at this photo:
Pretty cool right? Look at all that room for actual groceries in the shopping cart 🙂
Willow loved being in it because she could easily look around and see everything. I am not kidding, I got stopped by no less than 10 people the first time I used this. Everyone from expectant mothers to grandmas looking for a baby shower gift! I think it would be great for parents with two kiddos. One can chill in the Binxy while the older kid goes in the shopping cart seat. It can hold up to 50lbs so even if your little one is sitting independently it’s a great option for grocery stores that don’t have two-seat shopping carts.
Oh hello, it looks like someone found their thumb! I think we may have a second thumbsucker on our hands 🙂 I can’t get over how tiny and cute she is even though she’s well over 12 lbs now. We’ve recently had to start a pile of clothes she has grown out of and I can’t even talk about it. I’m not ready for her to be outgrowing clothes already!
Have you tried the Binxy Baby? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!

What a cool product! I’d love that because you don’t have to get your kid all germy in the shopping cart. I’m past my baby days but would totally get one of these for a baby shower gift.

I love how compact it is and it looks super comfy for baby too. Plus, it’s just so cute! Love the pattern.
