Mirror Metallics

Shiny things!

I absolutely love this colour! I was hesitant about trying metallics because I hardly ever wear shiny nail colour. I usually stick to solid matte colours – that is my comfort zone. A got a lovely new watch for my birthday and kind of fell in love with this rose gold colour. Turns out Essie has a colour that is almost an exact match! It’s called Penny Talk from their Mirror Metallics collection.

I found that it dried crazy fast! And you can get away with only one coat. I did two just for good measure, but if you are looking for a quick way to add some shimmer to your outfit, you can do this super quick!

Essie has an Intagram contest right now for people to show off how they like to wear metallics. If you like my shimmery, shiny nails you can click here to ‘like’ my photo on Facebook : ) They are constantly adding new photos so you may need to scroll through a bit to find mine.

What’s your favourite Essie colour? Let me know in the comments!

I agree I have bought this colour and it’s amazing how it coats your nail in just one coat and looks amamzing. I definitely agree with you Megan to add a really good top coat is I found it almost rubbed off if you didn’t:)
